Here is a simple and deeply grounding Reiki Meditation to do at home. It centres on your HARA, which in Japanese means our physical belly as well as encompassing the deeper meaning that this is home to our true nature. This central axis point or energy centre connects us to earth energy.
Find a comfortable, undisturbed space to sit, close your eyes and place your hands on your HARA (three inches below your belly button).
As you sit in meditation, focus on breathing into the HARA in and out through your nose.
Feel the rise and expansion into your hands as you breathe in and that sense of pressure move away from your hands as you exhale.Feel the support of the earth below. Try this practice for around 5 minutes, three times a day.
